SKELBKNT.LT COOKIE AND BROWSER STORAGE POLICY Effective from 21 August 2026 1. GENERAL PROVISIONS 1.1. This Policy explains how MB “Steel Trek”, legal entity code 306950514, uses cookies and browser local storage on https://skelbknt.lt (the “Website”). 1.2. A cookie is a small text file stored on a User's device by the Website or a third-party service. Local storage is a browser feature that allows a selected preference to be saved on the device without automatically sending it with each web request. 1.3. Confirming that you have read the Privacy Policy or this Policy does not constitute consent to the use of non-essential cookies. Where consent is legally required for a non-essential cookie, we request it separately before placing the cookie. 2. COOKIES CURRENTLY IN USE 2.1. The Website currently does not use advertising, user-tracking or profiling cookies, or Google Analytics, Meta Pixel or similar analytics or marketing cookies. 2.2. We use only cookies that are necessary for the Website's operation, security and sign-in, and for interface preferences selected directly by the User. 2.3. The exact name of a session cookie may depend on the Website's technical configuration. The list below uses a functional name. 3. FIRST-PARTY COOKIES 3.1. Website session cookie, for example “skelbknt-session” Purpose: to associate your requests with the same session, maintain your signed-in state, preserve validation messages and maintain a secure Website state. Legal basis: necessary for the Website to operate and provide the service you request; separate consent is not required. Duration: normally up to 120 minutes of inactivity. The session may be extended while you use the Website, and its duration may be shortened for security or technical reasons. Access: the cookie is marked “HttpOnly” and, in the production HTTPS environment, also “Secure”; the “SameSite” setting is used to protect against cross-site attacks. 3.2. “XSRF-TOKEN” Purpose: to protect forms and other state-changing actions against request forgery. Legal basis: necessary for the security of the Website; separate consent is not required. Duration: for the session or until the technical security token is refreshed. 3.3. Sign-in persistence cookie, for example “remember_web_*” Purpose: to remember your sign-in when you select “Remember me” or choose Google sign-in with persistent authentication. Legal basis: necessary for the sign-in feature you expressly select; separate consent is not required. Duration: until you sign out, the authentication token is revoked, an account-security change occurs or the cookie expires in your browser. 3.4. “sidebar_state” Purpose: to remember whether the signed-in User's account sidebar navigation was expanded or collapsed. Legal basis: an interface preference expressly selected by the User. Duration: seven days from the last selection. 3.5. “appearance” Purpose: a technical cookie that stored the light-appearance preference in earlier versions of the Website. Legal basis: delivery of an interface preference. Duration: up to 365 days. The new version of the Website no longer creates this cookie unless an appearance choice is presented to the User. You may remove a cookie stored previously at any time in your browser settings. 4. BROWSER LOCAL STORAGE 4.1. “listings.index.view_mode” Purpose: to remember whether you chose to display Listings as a grid or a list. Duration: until you change the selection, clear Website data or the entry is removed in a Website update. 4.2. “appearance” Purpose: an appearance preference stored in earlier versions of the Website. Duration: until browser data is cleared. The new version does not create this entry unless an appearance choice is presented to the User. 4.3. Local-storage data is not automatically sent to the server with every request. A Website script reads it only to apply the relevant interface preference. 5. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES 5.1. If you choose Google sign-in, use Google Maps or proceed to the SEB payment environment, the relevant third party may use its own necessary, security or other cookies on its domain, in accordance with its privacy and cookie policies. 5.2. We do not control these third-party cookies. You are redirected to the third party's environment, or its feature is loaded, only when you select the relevant sign-in, map or payment feature. 5.3. MANAGING COOKIES 6.1. You can view, block or delete cookies and local-storage data through your browser settings. Deleting necessary cookies may sign you out or prevent form protection or other requested features from working. 6.2. Because we do not currently use analytics or marketing cookies that require consent, we do not display a separate cookie-consent banner. 6.3. If we later decide to use non-essential analytics, personalisation or marketing cookies, we will implement consent management before placing them, provide equally accessible accept and reject options, and let you withdraw consent at any time. 7. DATA PROCESSING AND YOUR RIGHTS 7.1. Personal data associated with cookies is processed to operate and secure the Website and provide features selected by the User.
